I recently officiated a wedding.
The bride and groom put on an honor clinic.
Even though they were the focal point, every facet of this wedding took that attention and reflected it back onto God and the community they invited to enjoy the day.
So much worship. So much honor.
Just one example: the piece of paper that told me where to sit at the reception was actually an envelope with my name on it. Inside was a card. One side had a beautiful note from the bride–the other side, a beautiful note from the groom.
They did this for every guest–200 people. Even my children received notes.
The strange irony is that this kind of deflection tends to boomerangs back on you (this is not the motivation for doing it; rather, a beautiful by-product).
Honor begets honor.
