Hi! I’m Pastor Dan Blosser.

Welcome to my blog. Frankly, I’m writing mostly for me. It’s a noisy world clamoring for attention. I’m not clamoring for attention. I’m trying to hone my thoughts through the arduous process of writing them down.

If you find something valuable here, we’ll consider it a blessing that is flowing to you from my countless mentors. If you find folly, I’ll own it.

I’m a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Professionally, I’m in my second career. I began as a surgical nurse in 2001; and since 2012 I serve as the Pastor of Adult Ministries at Upland Community Church in Upland, Indiana.

I attended Cedarville University (Cedarville, Ohio) for nursing school (2001); Next, Dallas Theological Seminary for a ThM in Historical Theology (2007).

The integration of my family life, medical background, theological education, and pastoral role, has been one of the great joys of my life, and I love talking about it. I’m a teacher, yes–but a learner first–a highly indebted one.

I’m a Christian. I worship and proclaim the creation and redemption story of the One God, the Holy Trinity: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the most important thing about me.
